Association of Physicians of Great Britain & Ireland
For student carrying out an innovative research project in medicine in the broadest sense. At the end of the Elective project, a report MUST be submitted. Further details will be provided when the successful applicants are notified of their award.

The Richard De Metz Educational and Travelling Foundation Elective Prize
For a student whose elective includes a specific area of research with a specialist, or medical work of any kind in a developing country. This award may be given under any of the grant categories at the discretion of the School of Medicine Elective Awards Group.
