Introduction: A week of experience in a field of diagnostic radiology at a main base centre, under specialist guidance.

Reporting instructions: please go to your allocated site on Tuesday morning (except St Marys, Central Middlesex and Northwick Park, where you should go on Monday morning)

Central Middlesex

Charing Cross

Chelsea & Westminster

Report at 9 am at Level 1 X-ray dept seminar room, which is straight ahead of you. You will be met by Dr Nasir Khan. In the event of problems contact Dr Khan's secretary, ext 5830 or 020 8237 5830.

Hammersmith

Report at 9 am to Imaging on the 1st floor. Go to Reception and ask for Dr Chris Harvey or, in his absence, ask the imaging reception to tannoy Dr Nicola Strickland or Dr Alison Graham. In the event of difficulties phone Melanie Hobbs on ext 34956.

Northwick Park

Report at 8.30 am on Monday to Anup Jethwa (TCO) or Maggie Ross, undergraduate dept, Education Centre. Any problems please call 020 8869 2576 or 3170. Please bring £20 cash for a padlock. Report at 8.30 am on Monday morning to the FEO for lockers and swipe cards, then proceed to Radiology reception, 3rd floor QEQM, and ask for Dr Chris Schelvan who will provide you with your timetable, and orientate you around the department. £20 cash deposit required for locker keys. Timetable:
The course will start with a day of e-modules and private study.  The e-modules are available on Blackboard

The students will be divided into 4 groups and the rest of the course will be delivered on the four different sites. The exact timetable for study in this module will vary between the four sites but on each day there will be a period of attachment to a specific imaging modality. Students must attend a minimum of 2 Clinico-radiological conferences during the week. There will be additional informal teaching and time for personal study.

An online Radiology test must be completed at the end of the week on Blackboard
