Virtual Private Network (VPN)

From a home PC, you can access your H: drive and have easier access to the electronic journals, databases and other IT resources available to users on the College network. To do this, you connect via a VPN connection to College via an ISP.

See the details on the ICT website ...

Registration for a VPN Connection to College network - this is an online registration. You will be reminded of the Terms and Conditions of connections to the College network. Since a VPN connection effectively puts your personal machine on the College network, you should therefore have the system fully patched with the latest operating system and application security updates and have up-to-date antiviral detection. See the ICT Security web for more help on Virus and security patches.
