Criminal Records Bureau check

All students are required to complete a Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) check. If you have not yet completed the application process, please arrange to do so as soon as possible. Your application must be on the official CRB forms, so you will have to go to the College Registry in person to complete them. You will need to bring with you identification verification documents (as detailed below). You can complete the form whilst you are there and Registry staff will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have.

There are 3 documents required to verify your identity. One of which must be from the following list:

  • Birth Certificate
  • Passport
  • Driving Licence

One must be one of the following and be less than 3 months old and have you name and current address on it:

  • Bank statement
  • Credit card statement
  • Utility Bill
  • Mobile Phone Bill
  • Council tax Statement

The third document can be an additional one from the above list or your National Insurance Numbercard or GCSE Certificate or A-level certificate.

A completed CRB check is vital for your medical studies.
