Emergency medicine hospital dress codes
 
Central Middlesex No white coats
Males - must wear shirt and tie.
Females - if wearing skirts they must be no shorter than knee length.
Students must wear their name badge and ID card at all times.
Charing Cross  No white coats.
Smart dress, neat and tidy - no T-shirts and no jeans.
Males - no tie. 
Females - trousers are better than skirts. No open topped shoes.
Ealing  No white coats. No tummies or chests on show. No open-toe shoes.
Bare below the elbows - no watches or bracelets. Wedding ring only.
ID badge at all times.
 
East Surrey Students are required to be presentable. Arms must be bare below the elbow. Students should either wear scrubs or smart casual clothing.
Hillingdon  No white coats. Smart dress. ID badge at all times.
Northwick Park  No white coats. Smart dress.
Students must wear their name badge and ID card at all times.
 
St Mary’s  White coats with name badges.
St Peter’s  Smart dress and no white coats.
Imperial ID badges must be worn at all times.
Males - no ties when working with patients and shirt sleeves to the elbow.
Smart trousers and shoes - no jeans or trainers.
Females - shoes, no midriffs exposed, minimal jewellery and long hair tied back.
 
West Middlesex  Formal dress, with name badge. No white coats  
Wexham Park Students are required to be presentable. Arms must be bare below the elbow. Students should either wear scrubs or smart casual clothing.
