Cardiology

 
If you have been assigned to Harefield Hospital for the Clinical Cardiology attachment please note that Harefield Hospital is unable to guarantee accommodation to all students on the week-long attachment. This is due to structural damage to the accommodation building which has put the top floor rooms out of commission. There is however limited accommodation (i.e. one or two rooms) but this will be confirmed on a rotation-by-rotation basis. We have therefore been asked to confirm room availability with the Accommodation Office at Harefield before the start of each rotation, and the available room(s) will be offered to those of you most in need of it. We realise this is not satisfactory but we are working hard with the Trust to improve the situation.

You can use the Royal Brompton - Harefield shuttle service if you require assistance in getting to Harefield campus and back. If you wish to use this service you will need to present your Imperial ID and arrive before the scheduled departure times.

The bus leaves from the main entrance of the RBH Sydney Street wing as follows:

For those who may not wish to use this service there are two train stations that you can use – Uxbridge and Northwood stations. From Uxbridge station you can get bus 331 to Harefield High Street and/or bus U1 which will take you directly to Harefield Hospital. Bus 331 is also available from Northwood station.
