Food and drink in the computer laboratories

Eating and drinking or being found in possession of food and drink in the computer laboratories is contrary to the Faculty policy, available here as a pdf document

A copy of the Policy is included in each IT Induction session, i.e. for Year 1 as part of the FOCP-IT Course, for Direct Entry students, for Graduate Entry students, for Intercalating BSc students from other Medical Schools and for TMDU BSc Exchange students.

Copies of the Policy are displayed in every PC cluster subject to the policy. Each PC cluster logon screen also includes a message about eating and drinking being not allowed.

The only exception is that drinking is permitted from containers which have non-spill caps, i.e. leak-proof, snap-down seals, such as some "sports drinks" type containers, or firm screw caps.
