Submission of course work

By submitting work for assessment, a student declares that the submission is all his/her own work, that it has not previously been submitted for assessment, and that they have not knowingly allowed it to be copied by another student. The student also understands that plagiarism is the presentation of another person's thoughts or words as though they were his/her own and that in a submission of work, any such sources have been clearly identified and referenced. The student also understands that suspected plagiarism will be dealt with under the College's Procedure for Dealing with Examinations Offences.

Penalties for late submission of course work

  • 5% will be deducted from the awarded mark for assessed work for each day submitted late up to 14 days after the deadline.
  • No mark will be awarded for work submitted after 14 days.

Note: Where hardcopy of coursework is submitted, the coursework examiners are entitled to reject any coursework that does not have a signed copy of the multipart proforma [pdf]
